Co-Founder & Designer
I started Wishes & Wayfinding with a group of my friends from college in 2020. At this time, the world was shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic and my friends and I wanted a creative outlet that we could use to connect with each other and the Disney community. We created Wishes & Wayfinding, a website, blog, and monthly newsletter to share our love of Disney parks.
Since then, our passion project has grown so much! We now have an average of 44,000 website sessions per month, 53,000 blog post views per month, and 29,000 unique visitors per month. We also have over 600 active subscribers to our email list.

Star Wars Hub
I created a hub on our website to feature our most popular pieces of content related to Star Wars.
The hub starts out with our Star Wars 101 guide for new fans, then highlights some of our Star Wars recipes.
Next we have a full guide to visiting Galaxy's Edge, the Star Wars land in the Disney parks. This includes ride overviews, how to make your own droid and lightsaber, and how to make a reservation for the popular Cantina bar.
After that, there are a few featured articles about the movies and links to quizzes we have developed, as well as links to shopping guides for Star Wars merch.
Finally, there is a newsletter subscription box at the bottom to drive newsletter sign-ups.
Newsletter Subscription Pop-Up
One enhancement that I added to our website and blog was a pop-up subscription form that shows up after a couple seconds of being on the page.
This helped us increase our subscription numbers for our monthly newsletter.
Newsletter Email Templates
I created our the email templates for our monthly newsletter. I also created a dark mode version for some of our special edition themed newsletters.
I am also the one that uses the templates to build out the newsletters, adding in the photos, content, and links for the new and featured stories we want to share.
Recipes & Articles
I also write recipes and articles for the blog. Most of my assignments have been recipes for food or drinks that available in the Disney parks. I will create a recipe to make it at home, test it out, photograph the item, and then write up the recipe article to share on our blog.
